Vision:- To bring about a social change through education and awareness and to help eradicate any social evil that may adversely affect the progress of our village communities.

Jan Jagriti (JJ) - An educational project for village children.

Our Mission: To bring about all round development of our rural village communities through education and awareness and on ground work-
• To provide quality education to students in villages in order to ignite in them dreams of bigger visions
• Scholarships for needy and deserving students
• Classes and campaigns to promote English, Math, Science and IT
• Career counseling and opportunities
• To address social issues like alcoholism and female feticide
• To promote issues pertaining to health and hygiene.
• Environment issues and tree plantation

JJ's Pilot project has been in place since Dec 2005 at Village Barhana, District Jhajjar, Haryana, India. We hope to replicate the model in other villages in due course of time.

Current Activities
We have been teaching English, mathematics and science in an interesting way. The students have been very eager to learn and have been benefited by the visits which JJ keeps organising to the village schools. With our activities we intend to help the children have a bigger vision for themselves as well as for the village. We have been working and intends to work at the grass root level, trying to bring about a change in the lives of village children and village community. We aim to tap the interest and enthusiasm of girl child in studies to provide them a bright future Our volunteers and staff have been attending to the children’s needs regarding education and learning at the JJ Project. Children are able to spend their spare time creatively at JJ rather than whiling their time in the streets. Our volunteers and staff have been helping and organising classes at the government schools and private schools in the area.
Jan Jagriti has been continuously doing more efforts to make society better. These are current activities.....
